Exam-Prep Checklist
A phase-by-phase checklist that distills this course into concrete, checkable readiness signals — from general kubectl and cluster fluency through the knowledge-based KCNA/KCSA associate exams up to the performance-based CKA, CKAD, and CKS. Each phase builds on the one before it, so work top to bottom rather than jumping straight to the certification you want; a shaky general-fluency phase makes every later phase harder than it needs to be. Tick items off as you go — your progress is saved in this browser, and this list is meant to be revisited over weeks, not cleared in one sitting.
Before a road trip you check the tires, the gas, and the spare — not because a form makes you, but because skipping one turns a small problem into a breakdown on the highway. This page is that same pre-trip check, but for sitting a Kubernetes exam: can you explain the control plane without a diagram, can you write a NetworkPolicy from a blank file, can you fix a cluster you didn't break yourself, in less time than the exam gives you to notice you're behind schedule?
This checklist is an independent, unofficial study aid, not an official CNCF or Linux Foundation readiness assessment — clearing every item here is a strong signal, not a guarantee. Exam price, format, and policy details change; always confirm current price, duration, question or task count, and the pass mark directly on the Linux Foundation's certification page before you book a slot, and read this course's own Certifications overview for how the five tracks relate to each other.
