30 original practice questions, timed at 30 minutes, drawn from the same 120-question bank as Self-Check — the seven-station Mission Control curriculum (Foundations, GitOps, service mesh, policy as code, observability, the developer portal, Linux fundamentals) plus one domain for each of the nine project certifications on the Certifications page. These are not reproductions of any vendor's actual exam questions (that would be against every vendor's terms and wouldn't teach you anything real) — they're original questions testing the same underlying knowledge, so a good score here is a real signal, not a false one.

☺ Explain it like I'm 10

It's a practice fire drill, not the real fire. Nobody grades you and nothing is on your permanent record — you get a clock, thirty questions pulled from all sixteen domains, and an honest score at the end so you know exactly what to study next.

🐢🦥Your hosts for this topic: Timmy the Turtle & Sol the Sloth — Timmy times you and checks every answer, Sol reminds you that rushing a policy-as-code question is how good engineers get an easy one wrong.

Before you start

☺ Like you're 10: Answer them in any order, change your mind as often as you like, then press submit once.

All 30 questions are on one page, drawn fresh from the 120-question bank each time you start — proportioned across all sixteen domains, answer in any order, and change any answer before submitting. The 30-minute clock starts when you press start and auto-submits at zero. Your best score stays in this browser only.

⚠ What this is and isn't

A good score here means you know the underlying concepts across all sixteen domains, not that you're guaranteed to pass any one of the nine project certifications — ICA mixes in hands-on tasks alongside its multiple choice, and LFCS is fully performance-based on a live terminal, and no multiple-choice quiz can simulate keyboard speed under either. Pair this with real practice: work through the hands-on labs and run down the readiness checklist before you sit the real thing.
